Friday I'm in Love

Hello everyone! Aren't you excited the weekend is almost here! Although, you spring forward in the states this weekend don't you? I hate daylight savings weekends. Always off with our sleep and routines for a good week I feel like. We don't spring forward for a few more weeks over here in Germany. An interesting fact I just read recently is that it wasn't until World War I that daylight savings were realized on a grand scale. Germany was the first country to adopt the time changes, to reduce artificial lighting and thereby save coal for the war effort.  In the U.S. a federal law standardized the yearly start and end of daylight saving time in 1918—for the states that chose to observe it. I always thought it was created to assist farmers... anyhow, we learn something new every day.

So, I got my hair cut Thursday, and chose a mixture between two of the photos I showed you on Wednesday. 10 inches of hair gone! I feel quite liberated. It was so heavy! My head feels so light now and I feel a bit more with the times. Plus, my eyebrows were shaped, and that makes a big difference as well. Ready for spring.

Excited for this weekend. Tomorrow is my birthday and the sun is supposed to be out and it will be in the upper 50s! We're going to try to get out and climb outside maybe both days even : ) Hope you all have a wonderful weekend as well. Good luck with the time change!

As always, some links for you to enjoy!

    1. Thanks Lisa! So much easier to dry and wash now! Just couldn't handle the length anymore and was ready for something new. It was a great birthday. Thank you! Hope you all are doing well and are done with the snow!
