Easter Bunny Sign

We're finally over our colds and stomach bug! Well, mostly at least. As much as I hate being sick and the kids being sick, it was a really nice week because I got to have 2 extra days with the kids at home! A rarity.

This weekend, we went for a nice long hike in the woods with the kids and climbing on Sunday at the gym. My goal was to stay up late each night and make stuff for a crafts fair next weekend, but I failed. Fell asleep both nights super early with the kids and couldn't make myself get up! Going to have to this week if I want to sell anything at the craft fair. Really don't know how much to make and what will sell. Guess I'll find out Saturday.

I made this Easter sign the other day on a piece of scrap wood. I like it nice and simple, but Frank thinks it is missing something. Like a border, or words, etc? What do you all think? Do I need to add something to it? I used Annie Sloan Chalk Paint to paint it and followed the same technique I used for this sign.I still don't have a silhouette, so I glue on the image with a glue stick and peel it off after I paint over the sign. Works pretty well...

I got the wonderful bunny silhouette from The Graphics Fairy.

  1. Love the sign Mandy. I think Frank is right. Maybe a twig or brown branch border, like an Easter basket, or pussy willows (painted or real). I love brown with pale blue.
